Starting Point

Begin with the information you already have.

Rough Sketches

Share hand-drawn silhouettes, notes, fit ideas or construction concepts. We organise the information into a clearer product specification.

Digital Mockups

Share Canva files, Illustrator mockups, screenshots, mood boards or artwork-placement concepts. We translate the relevant details into technical instructions.

Authorised Reference Garments

Share an authorised physical sample or fit reference. We review measurements, construction, seam placement, material direction and finishing details to understand the intended result.

Technical Deliverables

A structured product file for sampling, costing and production review.

Your concept is organised into technical sections covering materials, measurements, construction, artwork, labels, packaging and quality checkpoints.

The final document scope depends on the product complexity and the agreed development service.

Product Specification

A structured product overview covering garment type, fit, colourways, size range, key features and production notes.

Bill of Materials

Fabric composition, GSM, rib, lining, zippers, drawcords, labels, tags, packaging and other required components.

Measurements & Grading

Measurement points, base-size specifications, tolerances and size grading according to the agreed product scope.

Construction Details

Seams, stitch types, panels, pockets, necklines, waistbands, closures, trims and finishing instructions.

Artwork & Placement

Artwork dimensions, colours, print or embroidery positions, patch locations and placement measurements.

Labelling, Packaging & QC

Label positions, care information, hangtags, folding, individual packaging and product-specific quality checkpoints.

Development Flow

From product concept to reviewed technical file.

We organise your product idea into a structured specification that can be used for sampling, costing and production-feasibility review.

Product Development Support

For brands with a clear idea but no in-house product developer.

Many growing brands have strong creative direction but need technical support before sampling. Timepolo helps define the product’s fit, fabric direction, construction, decoration and development route before production begins.

Product Direction

Clarify the physical product before investing in sampling.

01
Fit & Silhouette Oversized, boxy, cropped, relaxed, slim, athletic or custom fit direction.
02
Fabric & Weight Direction Jersey, fleece, terry, rib, woven, canvas, twill or performance-fabric direction based on the intended product.
03
Decoration & Finish Direction Printing, embroidery, appliqué, patches, washes and finishing options considered according to the product and artwork.

Development & Feasibility Consultation

Book a technical consultation when you need guidance before committing to sampling. We review material direction, likely production complexity, order quantity, development route and the information required before costing.

01
Product Feasibility Review whether the concept is sufficiently defined for sourcing, sampling, costing and production planning.
02
Order Quantity Review Consider how fabric, trims, custom colours, artwork and decoration may affect minimum quantities.
03
Development Route Identify whether the project is best suited to custom cut-and-sew, private-label development, blank customisation or a small capsule programme.
Project Requirements

What to share before development begins.

Provide as much product information as possible. A complete technical brief is helpful but not required for the initial review.
